About Kelli
Hi, I am Kelli! I am a traveling yoga instructor from Kentucky, who moved to Florida at 18 years old to attend University, where I majored in psychology. I eventually took a leap of faith and in 2013, I began my journey in Central America, where I discovered I wanted to live between the America’s - North and Central. I am currently based in Central America, where I travel back and forth between the United States and Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Panama.
I am a 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher and Yoga Alliance certified. My training is based in Ashtanga yoga. Ashtanga yoga is important to me because it connects to the traditional Indian philosophy, pranayama, and meditation practices of yoga. This past link gratefully connects us to the present moment. I also have 75 hours in Yin Yoga and Myofascial Release.
Fitness is my lifelong passion, as I trained everyday from a very young age. I use fitness for my adrenaline outlet and for physical and mental strength. I eventually found yoga as a way to balance out my intense workouts. I soon realized that the breath and body connection stimulates mental awareness and mindfulness. This blissfulness brings peace within oneself. I believe that through balance of fitness and yoga, you can come back to you - not just your strength, but your inner light of awareness.
My goal is to help you find a healthy lifestyle that works for you and your schedule. Together we will work together to find a balance - through the practice of yoga and fitness. I want to work with you to look within, to find yourself, to pursue your dreams, all in a balanced and mindful way.
Yoga and fitness gives us the tools to live a harmonious life, one where we are physically and mentally strong, but also socially strong as well. Together I hope we can enjoy a drink, enjoy a pizza, enjoy health, and most importantly, enjoy life! This is how you find your balance - the Coco Kelli way!
⟡ Why Coco Kelli? ⟡
Let’s talk about the Coco to the Coco Kelli! I am sure some of you thought that Coco meant the tropical fruit, me being ‘cocoloco’ or living a tropical lifestyle but, no! The inspiration behind the name was my dog - Coconut!
Coconut - my homie, ride and die, travel partner, best friend, and motivation. Coconut traveled to 4 countries with me, always bringing a smile to my face. While Coconut is no longer with us, he was of course living his life while I began my journey into online wellness training. Sometimes, in my early videos, Coconut even makes a guest appearance!
Coconut meant the world to me, just as wellness does, and now his legacy lives on through my passion, which I am so lucky to share with all of you! So thank you - for being not only apart of my journey, but his as well!
